This was something i wrote for a missionary couple it is called The Test Of Faith

I was approched one day by a person exploring different religions. He asked if my church believed in praying as a family and in setting aside one night a week to read scriptures and learn about God and have fun as a family. I said we don't preach or talk about that stuff but those are some good ideas. He then asked me if now that I have heard those ideas would my church now begin to preach those things. I told him no because it is not politically appropreate to talk about those things. He then took my hand and shook it and said to me thanks for your time but a church that isscared to preach about things like that isn't a church I want to join have a nice day. He then turned and walked away.


I think I came up with this after hearing the missionaries talk about a conversation between themselves and a bishop or preacher from another religion. the story itself is made up and I don't know why i wrote it but I thought you might enjoy it and i never found out if the missionaries ever used this story. So feel free to tell me what you think.
